I am pleased to announce SOT (as managed by AIM, Inc.) is moving its headquarters to a new location in the same neighborhood. A move was not planned for 2017, however, a Metro stop opened down the street a few years ago, which has stimulated extensive development in the area. AIM found a terrific spot about a half-mile from the Metro that is largely out of the way of commercial and residential construction taking place throughout the corridor.
For a comparable financial commitment, the new headquarters facility offers an enhanced work environment for AIM staff and member volunteers. The new location is still convenient to the airport and allows us to host SOT meetings in an attractive and functional space. The move is planned for the weekend of September 22. Staff is working remotely on September 22, and is accessible through the SOT phone number and email addresses while the move takes place.
