By the time Tuesday night of SOT week rolls along, and you are more than halfway through the Annual Meeting, you should be ready to unstuff your stuffed shirts and head to the only frivolous game in town where no one will stop you from jeering or cheering (in fact, we encourage it)—the Tox ShowDown. We are celebrating the 6th year of this toxicological quiz game in Holiday Ballroom 3 of the Baltimore Hilton Hotel at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14. See if you know more or less of toxicological fact, lore, and legend than your peers. Or just come for the cash bar. Door prizes? Yes, of course. You can’t lose (unless you’re a contestant). Join your disreputable emcee, Phil Wexler, your graft-friendly judge Peter di Marco, nine ne’r do well contestants, and an assortment of shady volunteers for a chance to feel superior for a change.
