Workshop speakers explored the use of the Threshold of Toxicological Concern and other in silico based animal alternative methodologies to talk about alternative approaches for safety assessment of natural ingredients and extracts in cosmetics at the Tuesday morning workshop, which was sponsored by the Association of Scientists of Indian Origin Special Interest Group. The workshop was crowded and presenters addressed a number of questions from the audience following their presentation.
