The Society of Toxicology (SOT) has learned of the passing of Bernard Weiss on January 22, 2018. Dr. Weiss was Professor Emeritus at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He joined SOT in 1982 and was a member of the Lake Ontario Regional Chapter and the Ethical, Legal, Forensics, and Societal Issues, Neurotoxicology (NTSS), and Comparative and Veterinary Specialty Sections. In 2003, Dr. Weiss was the recipient of the Distinguished Investigator Award from the NTSS. For further information, please see the University of Rochester Medical Center website.
