The Lights at Night in San Antonio

SOT-Lights.jpgIn case you haven't noticed, SOT is taking over the skies with lights at night in San Antonio. If you haven't seen this spectacle, look up at the Hilton—the side facing the Convention Center—you'll see our name in big, bright lights across the the hotel's facade. We can all take pride in the fact that San Antonio did this in our honor.

And if you are walking anywhere near the Alamo, you'll notice that city officials have a Texas flag flying outside this historic building, which will be given to the SOT leadership on Tuesday. There is much history and mystique about the Alamo. The battle at the Alamo took place in February, 1836. The flag and the Alamo should be a reminder to us of the history and progress that we have made over the years in advancing the science of toxicology.

Thank you to the City of San Antonio for their generosity and graciousness in giving this flag to the Society and its members.
