@ToxSci
The June 2017, Vol. 157, Issue 2 of Toxicological Sciences includes many articles that will be of interest and importance to you. In this issue, ToxSci Editor-in-Chief (EIC) Gary W. Miller provides his thoughts on the International Reach of Toxicology and an excerpt is provided below.
"At Toxicological Sciences, we take our role in this global consortium seriously. Our associate editors and editorial board members represent several countries and regions of the world including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United States. We have translated materials from Toxicological Sciences into Chinese and Spanish for distribution at conferences. As I looked over our submissions from the past 3 years, I was pleased to see that our journal is representative of this global toxicology culture. Since 2014, we have received submissions from over 60 different countries and those submissions represent 66% of our total submissions. Two-thirds of our submissions come from outside of the United States! This reinforces the idea that toxicology is a global science and demonstrates that Toxicological Sciences is truly an international journal."
Also as you Look Inside ToxSci, you will find four Editor's Highlights prepared by ToxSci Associate Editors Marc Pallardy on TBBPA and Adipogenesis, Jodi Flaws on Placental Disposition of Crizotinib, ToxSci EIC Gary Miller on Metatranscriptomics and Diazinon, and Anumantha Kanthasamy on Organophosphate-Induced Neuropathology.
The mission of ToxSci, the official journal of the Society of Toxicology, is to publish the most influential research in the field of toxicology.
