Announcing CME Approval for the Continuing Education Course AM06 at the Annual Meeting, March 10

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) Task Force, appointed by SOT President William Slikker Jr., is pleased to announce that the Continuing Education (CE) Course, The Practice and Implementation of Neural Stem Cell-Based Approaches to Neurotoxicology (AM06) has been approved for continuing medical education.

Target Audience: Medical Doctors, health professionals and researchers with an interest in stem cell research and neural stem cell based approaches to neurotoxicology, neurology, and regenerative medicine.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine and SOT. The UAMS College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The UAMS College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Please see the SOT website for a full description of the session which will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, 8:15 am–12:00 noon, in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas.

Important Registration Information 

Registration for this session may be made by using the Mail or Fax Registration Form. For all those already registered for the Annual Meeting, the applicable final CE registration rates will apply to attend CME Course AM06 (see Part 2, Continuing Education Courses). For local attendees who are not registered for the Annual Meeting, a “CME Only” registration fee of $425 will apply (see Registration Fees, CME Only); this fee includes a pass to attend Annual Meeting sessions, including the Plenary Lecture, ALL day on Monday, March 11. If "CME Only" attendees would like to attend the full meeting, they may register at the applicable final Annual Meeting registration rate. "CME Only" attendees will also receive an invitation to attend the Keynote Medical Research Council (MRC) Lecture on Wednesday, March 13.
