Non-SOT Event: Toxicology, Exposure Science, and Analytics to Advance Chemical Safety

When:  Jun 17, 2026 from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)

This webinar, moderated by Russell (Rusty) Thomas, Ph.D., is the second in UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights’ four-part 2026 series entitled “Chemical Safety for Individual and Community Health” (click here to view the recording of the first webinar in this series).

In today’s world, we are exposed to complex mixtures of chemicals from consumer products, emerging technologies, the environment, and natural disasters. Chemical Insights’ Center for Analytical & Exposure Science, led by Mark Wilson, Ph.D., MSPH, CIH, and the Center for Toxicology & Human Health, led by Christa Wright, Ph.D., work to characterize these complex, multi-component chemical exposures, understand how they impact human health, and provide research-informed strategies for reducing health risks. This session will highlight how these research centers work together to identify, understand, and mitigate emerging chemical risks.
