Eva-Maria S. Collins, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Biology at Swarthmore College, where she leads an interdisciplinary research group that uses asexual freshwater planarians as a non-animal system for HTS of chemicals for neurotoxicity and developmental neurotoxicity. She received a Physics Diploma from Konstanz University and a PhD in Biophysics from Technical University Dresden, Germany. Prior to her appointment at Swarthmore College, she was a Lewis-Sigler Fellow at Princeton University and a tenured faculty member at UC San Diego.
