< return to list
Starts: 06-07-2022
Location: Online Opportunity

Description:

SOT members are welcome to contribute to the Society's communication efforts or to suggest new communication initiatives.

Current opportunities include:
  • Serving as an SOT Reporter for SOT-hosted activities and events. This involves attending the event (volunteer responsible for event registration fees, if applicable) and writing a short blog article covering takeaways from the attended event, session, webinar, etc.
  • Participating in the Adverse Reactions podcast. SOT members can volunteer to be interviewed for the podcast or can offer suggestions for interview topics or guests.
  • Writing for the Communiqué blog. The weekly blog shares news, commentary, and information relevant to SOT and/or toxicology, and SOT members can propose articles that they will draft for inclusion in the blog.
  • Developing an SOT Statement. SOT members can volunteer to lead a Writing Team to create an SOT Statement, which is meant to provide sound, balanced science information on toxicological topics of importance to human, environmental, and animal health.

If you are interested in one of the opportunities listed or would like to propose and commit your time and talent to another communication vehicle that could be utilized by the Society to share information with its members and key audiences, please complete this volunteer application.
