National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW), taking place September 21–25, 2026, provides an opportunity to recognize the postdoctoral scholars who advance toxicology through research, mentorship, collaboration, leadership, and service. As part of this year’s celebration, the SOT Postdoctoral Assembly (PDA) invites you to submit a shout-out for a postdoc whose efforts deserve to be acknowledged.
Your message might highlight an important research accomplishment, thoughtful mentorship, exceptional teamwork, or the everyday commitment that makes a laboratory, institution, or scientific community stronger.
This year marks the 17th Annual NPAW Celebration and carries the theme “Celebrating 150 Years of the US Postdoc Position.” Since 2009, the National Postdoctoral Association has sponsored National Postdoc Appreciation Week to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery. In line with this year's theme, SOT is proud to celebrate its vibrant postdoctoral community, which was officially organized as the Postdoctoral Assembly in 2006.
