The British Toxicology Society (BTS) invites all SOT members to attend the 2026 BTS Annual Congress, being held April 27–29, 2026, in Solihull, United Kingdom. Solihull is midway between Birmingham (one of the UK’s major cities and transport hubs) and Stratford-upon-Avon (the birthplace and hometown of William Shakespeare).
This year’s Congress will feature a range of sessions and activities that will provide opportunities to advance knowledge, foster collaborations and explore emerging trends in toxicology.
Congress Highlights
The 2026 Congress will feature a Continuing Education program on the theme of “Communication in Toxicology—Translating Science for Society.” The Congress’s program also includes plenary and award lectures, poster and oral communications with student and postdoc prizes, a toxicology-themed quiz networking session, and a gala dinner followed by live entertainment. In an exciting new partnership, the BTS and the UK branch of the Society for Environmental and Chemical Toxicology (SETAC) are hosting a joint workshop on “Science Shaping Regulation—Towards Adoption of Animal-Free, Exposure-Driven Approaches in UK Chemical Regulation” to take place immediately after the BTS Annual Congress on the afternoon of April 29, 2026.
