To submit an event, opportunity, or information for consideration for inclusion in the monthly “Around the World of Toxicology” blog, complete the special submission form for “Around the World of Toxicology” items. Please note that only activities by societies and professional associations (i.e., nonprofits) will be considered. If you are an organization or company seeking to promote an event, please submit your activity to the SOT “Calendar of Events.”

The deadline to submit a proposal for a scientific session, symposium, workshop, or keynote for the 13th Congress of Toxicology in Developing Countries (CTDC13) is July 15, 2026. CTDC13 is being held May 18–21, 2027, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The scientific proposals deadline is July 15, 2026.

American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT)
AACT is hosting a “Fundamentals of Toxicology Research” Seminar on August 18, 2026. The four-hour virtual seminar is meant for fellows-in-training and early career toxicologists.

Federation of European Toxicologists & European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX)
EUROTOX is hosting a webinar on July 2, 2026, titled “One Health in a Warming World: A Toxicologist’s Perspective.” The webinar will take place 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm (CET, UTC +1) and features Félix Carvalho, Universidade do Porto. Registration is limited to the first 100 participants.

The late abstract submission deadline for EUROTOX 2026 is July 31, 2026. Abstracts submitted and accepted by this date will not be included in the EUROTOX publication Toxicology Letters but will be available on the EUROTOX 2026 website. The regular registration deadline for EUROTOX 2026 is August 26, 2026. EUROTOX 2026 is taking place September 13–16, 2026, in Vienna, Austria.
