Toxicological Sciences continues to demonstrate its influence in the field of toxicology, with the journal’s 2025 Impact Factor increasing to 5.2.

This marks the second consecutive year of growth for ToxSci, following a Journal Impact Factor of 4.1 in 2024 and 3.4 in 2023. The latest increase reflects the continued strength, relevance, and reach of the research published in the journal.

ToxSci also improved its standing within the toxicology journal category, now ranking 16 out of 106 journals, up from 23 out of 106 last year.

Recently released Scopus CiteScore metrics further underscore the journal’s impact, with ToxSci receiving a CiteScore of 7.9 and ranking 26 out of 131 journals in the toxicology category.

This achievement would not be possible without the dedication and contributions of the entire ToxSci community, including authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. Their work helps ensure that the journal continues to publish high-quality, influential research across toxicology.

Congratulations to the ToxSci community, and especially outgoing Editor-in-Chief Jeff Peters, on this achievement. We look forward to the journal’s continued success!
