Do you remember the person who helped you navigate your first big scientific meeting? Now is your chance to be that person for someone else!

The SOT Postdoctoral Assembly (PDA) invites Full and Associate members to volunteer for Poster Tours for Trainees, which takes place during the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. This isnt just a tour—its a chance to give back to the toxicology community.

A Small Commitment with Big Rewards

In just 90 minutes, you can support graduate students and postdocs in bridging the gap between learning the science and joining the field.

As a guide, you will:

  • Guide the Conversation: Lead a small group of approximately 57 students and postdocs to posters in your field, highlighting the most significant takeaways.

  • Build Bridges: Introduce trainees to presenters and help them practice the art of professional networking.

  • Offer Perspective: Share the career advice you wish you had when you were starting out.

Ready to Sign Up?

The process is simple:

  1. Check the Online Planner (Filter by: Poster Session) to find a day and time (Monday–Wednesday) that works for you.

  1. Official sign-ups are open through February 5. Sign up to join us as a guide!

Join us in San Diego to make this year’s meeting memorable for everyone. Let’s inspire the next generation—one poster at a time.
