SOT is a member-led organization that relies on the contributions of dedicated members who volunteer to create resources and run programs that benefit the full membership and help the Society advance its mission.

All members are invited to express interest in participating in the Society’s myriad volunteer opportunities, including serving on a Committee or in a leadership role for SOT or a Component Group (Regional Chapter, Special Interest Group, or Specialty Section).

Express your interest in serving on a Committee or assisting with the Annual Meeting by completing the SOT Volunteer Form (note: you need to log in to the SOT website with your SOT membership information to access and complete the form).

To be considered for a 2021–2022 Committee position, complete the SOT Volunteer Form by Friday, December 18.

Beyond SOT programs, the SOT Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections offer other ways to engage and volunteer. Many groups are currently accepting nominations—contact the Component Groups directly to discover how you can get involved.
