This week, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) launched an initiative called UNITE, which will aim to end structural racism in biomedical research. NIH is seeking input from key stakeholders in biomedical research, including SOT members, on these efforts.
To this end, NIH has issued a Request for Information “inviting feedback on the approaches NIH can take to advance racial equity, diversity, and inclusion within all facets of the biomedical research workforce, and expand research to eliminate or lessen health disparities and inequities.” To submit comments, please visit the submission website.
