The SOT Faculty United for Toxicology Research and Education (FUTURE) Committee is pleased to recognize 16 outstanding undergraduates who are presenting posters at the SOT 63rd Annual Meeting and ToxExpo in Salt Lake City, Utah. These students come from a variety of institutions but share in having demonstrated research skills and a commitment to toxicology research, documented in their application and by their research mentor. FUTURE will welcome these students during an event early March 12, and they will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony. The SOT Undergraduate Research Award recipients participate in the Undergraduate Education Program as well as other meeting events; the award provides travel and lodging support for the full meeting. FUTURE has also arranged for each awardee to have a meeting mentor.
Watch for a large purple ribbon on a poster during the 2024 Poster Sessions, as these denote the Undergraduate Research Award recipients. Stop by to congratulate these outstanding students, learn about their research, and encourage them to continue in a toxicology-related career path.
