Applications are open to participate in the next SOT Science Communications Training virtual workshop sponsored by SOT and hosted by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science.
Two training workshops are planned for 2023:
- Monday, May 15
10:00 am to 1:00 pm (US EDT, UTC -4)
- Friday, October 13
10:00 am to 1:00 pm (US EDT, UTC -4)
As the SOT and Alda Center partnership enters its third year, SOT is transitioning participation in the training from an award opportunity to a simple first-come, first-served application process. While applications can be submitted any time, as applicants will be placed on a waiting list for the next training, individuals who would like to attend the May 2023 training session should apply by April 1 for first consideration. Once a training workshop is full, applicants not participating in that training will remain on the waiting list for first consideration for the next training session.
