The Society has learned that long-time member Frank Welsch, DVM, PhD, DABT, passed away in December 2023. Dr. Welsch was the Principal Toxicologist for Orbitox for the last 23 years, having previously served as the head of the teratology laboratory for the Chemical Industry Institute of Toxicology for 18 years and as a professor at Michigan State University for more than 10 years.
