Are you looking for a way to honor a friend or colleague for exceptional science or service in the field of toxicology?

Are you looking for support or recognition of your research and contributions to the field of toxicology?

SOT confers hundreds of awards each year to scientists at all career levels, and nominations and applications for many of those awards can be submitted now.

Awards bestowed by the SOT Awards Committee—often referenced as the SOT Awards—require nominations, and the recipients are recognized during a special Awards Ceremony during the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. Nominations are due on October 9 for these awards:

and SOT Councilor Antonio Baines, PhD

The SOT Awards Committee, alongside some generous corporate sponsors, also confers special grants and fellowships for research projects on specific topics. The applications for the SOT-Supported Awards also are due on October 9:

Awards bestowed by other SOT Committees, SOT Regional Chapters, SOT Special Interest Groups, and SOT Specialty Sections have varying deadlines, and many of these awards also are presented during the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. To find awards that are relevant to you, begin your search on the “SOT Awards” web page, where you can search by keyword or can sort the awards by audience and/or category. The web page for each award contains the award description, eligibility criteria, application requirements, and deadline; these items vary by award, so review the individual award page carefully. In addition, many awards require the applicant to submit and have an abstract accepted for the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. The abstract deadline for the 2023 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo is December 1, 2022, so please plan accordingly as you prepare your award materials.

On behalf of the SOT Awards Committee, we look forward to receiving your nominations and encourage all members to research and apply for SOT awards.
