On August 5, 2025, AACT is hosting a four-hour virtual seminar titled “Fundamental of Toxicology Research.” This webinar is designed for fellows-in-training and early career toxicologists.

American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT)
Registration is now open for the 2025 ACMT Psychedelics Seminar! This two-day virtual course on October 10 and 17, 2025, will dive into the pharmacology, clinical applications, safety, and ethics of psychedelics like psilocybin, MDMA, and ketamine.

In partnership with the Center for Forensic Science Research & Education (CFSRE), ACMT is hosting the bi-yearly Seminar in Forensic Toxicology. This two-day virtual course, taking place January 20–21, 2026, will include topics like expert consulting approaches, the complexities of litigation as an expert witness, and principles of toxicology testing, western Kratom use, xylazine, opioids and stimulants.

Federation of European Toxicologists & European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX)
The late-breaking abstract submission period for the 59th Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX 2025) is underway. For publication, late-breaking abstracts must be submitted by July 3, 2025; all other late-breaking abstracts are due August 7, 2025. The congress is taking place September 14–17, 2025, in Athens, Greece.

On July 22, NABR is hosting a webinar titled “Q&A with the USDA.” Participating will be USDA-APHIS Animal Care’s Louis DiVincenti, DVM, Acting Director of Animal Welfare Operations, and Sarah Helming, JD, Deputy Administrator of APHIS Animal Care. All questions should be submitted in advance.
