Get ready for the final Science Communication Training Workshop! For five years, SOT has partnered with the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science to offer members a unique opportunity to strengthen their ability to connect with any audience. This October marks the final installment of this special training series.
About the Workshop
The October session will feature The Essentials, the Alda Center’s core training program. In this three-hour, highly interactive virtual workshop, you’ll learn and practice techniques from the Alda Method© that will help you:
- Communicate complex scientific concepts more clearly and memorably
- Engage audiences with greater confidence and authenticity
- Build stronger connections in professional and public settings

How to Apply
Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill six to eight weeks before the workshop date. To maximize your chance of joining this session, submit your application by September 1.
If the October session fills before you secure a spot, you will be added to the waitlist in case of cancellations.
