Please note that only activities by societies and professional associations (i.e., nonprofits) will be considered. NCATS invites applications from late-stage doctoral students and early-stage postdoctoral fellows to participate in its two-day DOORS Event in 2026. Attendees will learn about cutting-edge advances in translational science, training opportunities, and careers in translational science.

NINDS is hosting a hybrid workshop January 13–14, 2026, titled “Advancing Exposome Research in Neurological Disorders and Stroke.” Taking place in Rockville, Maryland, the meeting features SOT member speakers.

International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX)
In the newest President’s Message, new President Martin F. Wilks recounts a successful 17th International Congress of Toxicology in Beijing, China, that welcomed 1,400+ delegates from more than 60 countries. At the Congress, IUTOX also elected to award the 14th Congress of Toxicology in Developing Countries to the Malaysian Society of Toxicology for 2030 and the 19th International Congress of Toxicology to the German Society of Toxicology for 2031.

National Association for Biomedical Research (NABR)

The Toxicology Forum
Nominations are open for the Tox Forum Emerging Investigator Travel Award. This award, supported through the Alex and Doris Malaspina Funds, provides reimbursement for traveling to the Tox Forum meeting and three years of Tox Forum membership, with the expectation of participation in the Scientific Program Planning Committee. The deadline for nominations is rolling.
