SOT interacts with many organizations and agencies to further its mission to create a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology and to add value to its members.
To this end, SOT has been a member organization of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) since 2017. Composed of several dozen member societies representing more than 130,000 individual members, FASEB is a coalition of biomedical researchers and scientific societies dedicated to advancing health.
As part of the FASEB Board of Directors, I have had the opportunity to engage with many of these members, and I encourage SOT members to explore and participate in the opportunities available as part of this partnership. These opportunities include events such as FASEB Science Research Conferences as well as advocating for issues of importance to the scientific community.
Learn more about the federation’s many activities on the FASEB website, and to remain up to date on FASEB activities, sign up for FASEB communications.
