While the 70+ Featured and Scientific Sessions that will be presented during the 2023 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo are likely to be a key attraction, SOT leadership and volunteers also are excited about the myriad social and networking events that will take place during the meeting.
As of this writing, the SOT Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections have confirmed 49 hosted activities—from mentoring events and panel discussions to luncheons and receptions—that will occur during the SOT meeting and more continue to be added! These activities are free for all meeting registrants, regardless of membership with the hosting entity.
Many exhibitors and Supporters also have events planned beyond the Exhibitor-Hosted Sessions that are taking place. Information on all Annual Meeting and ToxExpo activities is available on the SOT Online Planner.
While we are looking forward to these wonderful opportunities for engagement, there are a few programs that will not be part of the 2023 schedule:
- While we are excited about the opportunities downtown Nashville provides for the SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo overall, this location has limited options to host a safe, convenient SOT Past Presidents’ Fun Run/Walk within the SOT parameters. Therefore, the Fun Run/Walk is not being held this year, but we look forward to exploring options for resuming the event in Salt Lake City in 2024.
- Because of lack of enrollment, the Childcare Program has been canceled. Registrants may still bring children into Scientific Sessions and the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall per Annual Meeting policies, but a subsidized Childcare Program will not be available.
Remember that the SOT Annual Meeting website and SOT Online Planner should remain your go-to resources for everything related to the 2023 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo.
