In honor of National Volunteer Week and as the SOT leadership year comes to a close, I want to take this time to express my deep appreciation for everyone on the 2022–2023 SOT Council, as well as the people working so hard on our Elected and Appointed Committees and those leading the SOT Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections. Without you, we would not have had such a successful year.
It has been a pleasure serving as the SOT President and getting to preside over the Society’s first fully in-person meeting in four years. Thank you again to everyone for your hard work, dedication, and passion for what we do.
I remain enthusiastic and excited for the Society’s future and know that the 2023–2024 Council, Committees, and Component Group leaders will continue to bring innovation to the Society, while fostering the next generation of toxicologists and supporting SOT members.
