SOT is proud to announce the newly established Pfizer Graduate Fellowship Award, created to advance graduate student research in the growing field of translational toxicology. This prestigious fellowship reflects the Society’s ongoing commitment to supporting the future of toxicology through high-impact financial and professional development opportunities.

Pfizer Graduate Fellowship Award

The Pfizer Graduate Fellowship Award provides substantial financial support for an exceptional graduate student nearing the completion of their training. This award is designed to foster innovative translational toxicology research, research that bridges basic science with its application to drug development and human health. Translational toxicology integrates cutting-edge methodologies from across scientific disciplines to better predict and mitigate the toxic effects of drugs in humans.

The award package includes:

  • $36,000 stipend administered by the awardee’s institution and academic department

  • $9,000 in research supplies and other justifiable research costs

  • $2,500 for research-related travel

Finalists will be interviewed virtually by the SOT Awards Committee, with the recipient announced in November.
