The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is seeking proposals for its 2023 Science Research Conferences series as well as for its 2021–2022 Catalyst Conferences.

Science Research Conferences

According to the FASEB website, Science Research Conferences “enable scientists, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to discuss scientific advances and share cutting-edge research through lectures, poster sessions, and informal discussions.” FASEB is planning for in-person conferences in 2023 and is inviting proposals from biomedical researchers in topics such as:

  • Behavioral genetics and epidemiology
  • Brain injury and neurovascular pathologies
  • Cardiovascular differentiation and development
  • Developmental brain disorders
  • HIV co-infections and HIV-associated cancers
  • HIV molecular virology, cell biology, and drug development
  • Systemic injury by environmental exposure
  • Vaccines against microbial diseases

The deadline to submit a proposal for 2023 is September 28, 2021. For more information, visit the FASEB website, and direct any inquiries to FASEB.

Catalyst Conferences

FASEB is also welcoming submissions of topic ideas for its Catalyst Conferences, which are virtual events to further topic discovery, community development, and career growth. FASEB has openings for its 2021–2022 Catalyst Conferences and welcomes organizers to submit ideas for these events. Those interested in organizing a Catalyst Conference should contact FASEB with their topic idea; submissions are considered on a rolling basis.

More information is available on the FASEB website, and all questions regarding Catalyst Conferences should be directed to FASEB.

SOT is a member association of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.
