Join Us in San Antonio for the Official Launch of the Exposure Specialty Section!

By Barbara Wetmore posted 03-01-2018 17:18

We are very pleased to announce the formation of the Exposure Specialty Section. All are welcome to join us on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 12:00 pm–1:30 pm in Convention Center Room 211 at our first official meeting. If exposure research is important to you, this is a great opportunity to participate as we build the section to provide an informed platform for exposure science within the larger Society of Toxicology (SOT) community.

The mission of the Exposure Specialty Section is:

  1. To facilitate the exchange of information and interactions across SOT members participating in exposure research.
  2. To foster the evolution, advancement, and integration of exposure-based approaches as they pertain to the needs of toxicology and risk evaluation.
  3. To serve as an educational, mentorship, and networking resource for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and scientists interested in exposure research.
  4. To develop, propose, and conduct a variety of cutting-edge programs and educational activities that emphasize the latest developments and issues in exposure research to the broader SOT community.

To become a member:

  • SOT members can instantly join the section by paying the Specialty Section dues.
  • Non-SOT members must join the Society before they may join a Specialty Section.
  • Student and Postdoctoral members receive one Specialty Section membership for free.
