SOT-Sponsored Meeting

The Society of Toxicology (SOT) sponsors two types of meetings outside of the SOT Annual Meeting: Contemporary Concepts in Toxicology (CCT) and Non-SOT meetings. CCT meetings are one- to two-day focused, open registration, scientific meetings in contemporary and rapidly progressing areas of toxicological sciences. Non-SOT meetings are sponsored by other not-for-profit organizations and SOT will either endorse or provide sponsorship money to toxicology-related meetings.Below is an SOT-sponsored meeting that may be of interest to you. International Conference on Reproductive Biology and Toxicology—CRBT 2014, Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil

The International Conference on Reproductive Biology and Toxicology will be held on November 10 and 11, 2014 at the University of São Paulo, in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil. The Conference theme is “Reproduction and the Environment.” The meeting has received support from SOT and the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR), besides Brazilian State Universities and funding agencies.

Some renowned speakers will be present, looking for interaction with the participants, especially the students. Besides having the opportunity to present and discuss research data, the delegates will have the opportunity to profile their research group and establish new collaborations. The program has been planned to be attractive to reproductive biologists and toxicologists, working on development, and male and female reproduction, both in basic and applied reproductive biology (human and veterinary medicine). The space is limited, so register as soon as possible. The deadline for abstract submission is September 10 and for early registration September 12.
