Looking to the future, the Society of Toxicology has developed a new strategic plan that focuses on meeting the challenge of keeping toxicology in the forefront of scientific advancements that benefit public and environmental health. The real value of this process comes from the Membership providing input on the draft 2015–2018 Strategic Draft Plan. Plan to participate in the in the February 10 or February 16 Membership Input Webinars. For additional information, please visit the SOT website.

request for action plan / milestones with draft plan

Thank you to the leadership for drafting the Strategic Plan Objectives.  I think it is well focused for the current challenges and opportunities we face.  I suggest a little more detail on the action plan and milestones for each objective.  I know this is high level and dependent on the leadership, but with our volunteer turnover, I think the intent of the action plan written out will help in the achievement of the objectives of the strategic plan, so that council and committes can see clear times to their activities and objectives, and that this becomes an active and living document.  I have done this kind of drafting within my own industry experience, as well as the practical training I have done for my MBA degree.  Let me know if I can assist SOT council with the addition of a draft action plan / milestones for this strategy.  Thanks for the great work.

Best Regards,

Sol Bobst PhD DABT (MBA MS-EDE May 2015)
