Through a cooperative exchange with the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), SOT is preparing a proposal to present a session focused on microplastics during the SETAC 8th World Congress, September 6–10, 2020, at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
The theme of the congress is “Global Visions for Sustainable Environmental Quality” and will include the following tracks: aquatic toxicology, ecology, and stress response; terrestrial toxicology, ecology, and stress response; environmental risk assessment; policy, management, and communication; engineering, remediation, and restoration; chemistry and exposure assessment; predictive and statistical toxicology; and sustainability and life cycle assessment, as well as special spotlight sessions.
SOT members interested in helping organize and present toxicology research at the SETAC 8th World Congress are encouraged to submit a session proposal by the December 1 deadline.
