The Society of Toxicology (SOT) congratulates our new members and those who have upgraded their membership this year through March 2018!
As a result of applications submitted for the December 2017 and March 2018 deadlines, 162 members have upgraded their SOT membership and 350 new members—including 101 Full members, 60 Associate members, 35 Postdoctoral members, and 154 Graduate Student members—have joined the Society. New members become part of the worldwide network of more than 8,100 members from 71 different countries contributing to SOT's mission of "creating a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology." A special thank you to all the Full members who sponsored new Full and Associate members, as well as to the research advisors and mentors who have sponsored new Graduate Student and Postdoctoral members. Your support of these new members continues to build and sustain a strong and vibrant society. Thank you also to the SOT Membership Committee for your diligent work in reviewing all of the applications for the various membership types.
Is it time to upgrade your membership? Take advantage of additional member benefits by upgrading your membership level to reflect your professional experience in the field of toxicology. Do you know someone who is due for an upgrade? Encourage them to submit their application by June 30 to be included in the next review cycle. Membership upgrade requests may be made via the online application.
