SOT FDA Colloquia on Emerging Toxicological Science Challenges in Food and Ingredient Safety:
Contemporary Issues in Risk Assessment Colloquium and Live Webcast—June 17, 2015

This is the fourth colloquium of a series presented by the Society of Toxicology in junction with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This session will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, in College Park, Maryland, at the Harvey W. Wiley Federal Building and a live webcast will be held as well. This session will focus on recent improvements in human health assessment as recommended by the National Academies of Sciences committee that produced the report “Sciences and Decisions: Advancing Risk Assessment." Overall, the learning objective for this session is to demonstrate tangible examples of the implementation of the best practices in risk assessment to illustrate how the field is evolving to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
