SOT 1994 Honorary Member Ronald Winfield Estabrook passed away on August 5, 2013, in Dallas, Texas. He was Professor Emeritus and longtime Chairman of Biochemistry at the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Estabrook served as the first Dean of the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He was a world-renowned biochemist with a special knowledge of enzymatic reactions to toxicology and steroid hormone biosynthesis.
