The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is hosting a virtual forum on autism spectrum disorders and the environment on Tuesday, April 22. The event will be webcast live from 2:00 pm–3:00 pm EDT and will feature a panel of autism research experts who will take questions.

The Virtual Forum: Autism and the Environment webcast is open for the public to view online. Questions for the panelists can be submitted before and during the webcast via the website, or the @NIEHS Twitter account using the hashtag #autismforum2014. The panel will answer and discuss as many questions as they can during the live event.
The panel includes NIEHS and National Toxicology Program Director Linda Birnbaum and four autism research experts:

This virtual forum is part of a series of community forums hosted by NIEHS, and is the second virtual forum. The first was on obesity and the environment in 2012. Recent community forums have been held in Los Angeles, California; Detroit, Michigan; Seattle, Washington; and Boston, Massachusetts.
