The May 15 deadline is quickly approaching for the final round of Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP) Funding for the current year. Graduate students are encouraged to be creative in proposing an activity that will supplement the training that is available at their institution to enhance pursuing their career of choice. About four awards of up to $1,000 each are available.
Two STEP awardees, Jamie Moscovitz and Alisa Suen, are currently at Woods Hole, Massachusetts, engaged in the activity that they independently proposed. Both are attending the Marine Biological Laboratory course “Frontiers in Reproduction: Molecular and Cellular Concepts and Applications.”
