Providing positive research experiences for undergraduates is a major influencer for future career paths and an important goal of SOT. The Faculty United for Toxicology Undergraduate Recruitment and Education (FUTURE) Committee guides SOT programs for undergraduate faculty, such as the Undergraduate Educator Network (UEN), as well as coordinating SOT funding for undergraduate summer and academic year research through the Undergraduate Faculty Research Grant and Intern Program Support. Note that the next deadline for the Undergraduate Faculty Research Grant is March 27.

FUTURE is hosting a research mentoring webinar at 12:00 noon (ET) on Tuesday, March 4. Registration is open now.

Experienced undergraduate research mentors will share their tips and valued resources for enhancing student experiences to ensure that both students and research mentors make the most of the research experience. Time is reserved for comments and questions.
