Travel support to 37 undergraduates and 6 faculty advisors provides for their participation in the 2012 SOT Annual Meeting and in a comprehensive program that extends from Saturday, March 10 through midday Monday, March 12. This program is directed to students from ethnic groups underrepresented in the sciences and their advisors. This program has been instrumental in building for the future of toxicology and former participants have assumed leadership positions in organizing this year’s program under the auspices of the Committee on Diversity Initiatives (CDI).
