The Scientific Program Committee is planning another dynamic slate of scientific sessions for the 2019 Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, March 10–14, 2019.  We invite you to submit your science in the form of a poster or a platform abstract; the abstract submission site will remain open until Friday, October 19, 2018, at 11:59 PM (US Eastern Time). The abstract submission fee is $50.

The 2019 abstract submission site, which contains instructions and guidelines, may be accessed in the abstract section of the website.  If you submitted a session proposal last spring or an abstract proposal for last year’s Annual Meeting, you may use the same User ID and password for submitting an abstract.

For questions related to the submission of abstracts, please be sure to visit the website to access the FAQ section. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the SOT office at 703.438.3115.

In addition to the scientific sessions, the 2019 Annual Meeting will feature a Monday morning Plenary lecture on Robust Assembly of Human Tissues for Disease Modeling and Discovery from Dr. William Murphy of the University of Wisconsin, the Medical Research Council (MRC) lecture on Ageing and Multimorbidity presented by Dr. Janet Lord, the SOT/EUROTOX debate, Award Lectures, and several other featured sessions.

We are very excited about returning to Baltimore, the location of the 2017 Annual Meeting. The famous Inner Harbor and National Aquarium are 10-minute walks from the Baltimore Convention Center. Charming neighborhoods such as Fells Point, Little Italy, and Federal Hill, as well as historic sites such as Fort McHenry and the B&O Railroad Museum, are a quick taxi, Uber, or Lyft ride away. The Convention Center is located directly across the street from Camden Yards, home of the Orioles, and many hotel rooms in the SOT block have views of the field.  And for a true Baltimore experience, roll a game or two at a nearby duckpin bowling alley.

On behalf of the SOT Council and Scientific Program Committee, we look forward to welcoming you to Baltimore for the 58th Annual Meeting!
