The Fourth International Conference on Alternatives for Developmental Neurotoxicity Testing (DNT4) will be held Monday‒Wednesday, May 12‒14, 2014, at the Inn at Penn, a Hilton Hotel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Developmental neurotoxicity from chemical exposures is a growing concern. The conference website states that: “The developing human nervous system is susceptible to pharmaceuticals and environmental contaminants, and exposure during development is known to cause lasting neurological deficits.
