Dr. Jeffrey Larson is an accomplished and experienced toxicologist who has worked for over 30 years in companies, both large and small. He graduated from Washington State University with a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Larson has held positions at numerous pharmaceutical companies, including large pharma (Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, now Sanofi Aventis), mid-size pharma (Allergan), and small startup pharma (NexBio, Aronex Pharmaceuticals). He has served as President and Vice President of numerous consulting firms and product development companies, such as Parady Consulting, Inc., Texas BioAlliance, Beta Cat Pharmaceuticals (now Iterion Therapeutics), and Salarius Pharmaceuticals. He is currently the Senior VP of R&D at Tvardi Therapeutics. His expertise in preclinical product development, including studies performed under Good Laboratory Practice conditions, such as acute to chronic toxicology studies, carcinogenicity studies, reproductive toxicology studies, and in vitro safety studies, has been invaluable to the companies and academic researchers with whom he works.
