I am the Carol Remmer Angle Distinguished Professor and Chair in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in the Gillings School of Global Public Health. My scientific background is in biomedical sciences with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in biology and postdoctoral training in genomics/systems biology and environmental health sciences. I have extensive experience with genomic and epigenomic studies involving the placenta and the fetal epigenome in relation to environmental contaminant exposure. I serve on SOT Council as Treasurer, and am the former President of the Metals Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and recipient of SOT’s Translational Impact Award.
