Dr. Kaplan earned her BS in Environmental Toxicology from UC Davis and her PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State. She is a professor of immunotoxiology at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where her lab focuses on the mechanisms by which drugs and chemicals alter immune responses. She also values continued learning and practice about effective science communication.
