Dr. Dahl is a Senior Managing Toxicologist at SafeBridge Consultants. SafeBridge Consultants offers occupational toxicology, industrial hygiene, and analytical services to support pharmaceutical manufacturing. Her duties include managing our computational toxicology activities, which include (Q)SAR assessments for mutagenic impurities in pharmaceuticals, filling in as a Potent Compound Safety Boot Camp instructor, and coordinating all of the incoming toxicology projects. She has led a recent effort in qualifying excipients and developing limits for potential contaminants in drug products for pediatric patients. Prior to joining SafeBridge in 2012 she worked as a consultant at Exponent and as a study director at the Institute for In Vitro Sciences, where she also participated in the development and validation of new in vitro methods. She has a Ph.D. in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, completed postdoctoral research at the University of California – San Francisco on antimalarial drug development, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. She is an active member of the Genetic Toxicology Association and the Society of Toxicology. She has chaired SOT workshops on green product development and on the impacts of E-waste recycling.
