Johanna Elizabeth Ku holds a bachelor’s degree in toxicology from Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) in the United States and is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
She is currently a research assistant at INDICASAT-AIP, a research institute located in Panama City, Panama. As part of the Tuberculosis Biomarker Research Unit at the Institute, she contributes to the bioinformatic analysis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis genomes and other nontuberculous mycobacteria. In addition, she assists in the management of other strategic projects within the Unit.
In her free time, Johanna is also involved in science communication. She actively publishes articles in a local newspaper and participates in a weekly radio show that is also broadcast on YouTube.
