I’m thrilled to announce that Rob Knight, PhD, University of California San Diego, will take the stage as this year’s Plenary speaker. A member of the National Academy of Engineering and an AAAS Fellow, Dr. Knight is a trailblazer in microbiome research. He’s known for using cutting-edge computational and experimental tools to reveal the hidden world of microbes that shape our health. Don’t miss his plenary lecture, “Long-Read Sequencing, Metabolomics, and AI Revolutionize the Search for Drug Targets and Antimicrobial Resistance Mechanisms in the Human Microbiome, on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 8:00 am!
