The SOT Scientific Program Committee (SPC) invites registrants of the 2022 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo to attend three special Platform Sessions designated with the title “SPC Highlights Emerging Scientists.” These Platform Sessions exclusively feature presentations by students and postdocs and will cover three specialty areas in 2022:

  • SPC Highlights Emerging Scientists: Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology
    Monday, March 28, 1:45 PM–4:30 PM
    View session >>
  • SPC Highlights Emerging Scientists: Nanotoxicology
    Tuesday, March 29, 1:00 PM–2:30 PM
    View session >>
  • SPC Highlights Emerging Scientists: Immunotoxicity
    Wednesday, March 30, 8:00 AM–10:45 AM
    View session >>

Please try to attend one or more of these sessions during the SOT 61st Annual Meeting and ToxExpo.

If you are looking for additional ways to support students and postdocs during the meeting or throughout the year, consider participating in one of these programs:

  • SOT Mentor Match, a self-guided online program that matches mentees with potential mentors from the SOT membership to provide advice on career path selection and success and life/work balance issues
  • SOT Undergraduate Diversity and Education Programs, where SOT members serve as mentors to students attending the SOT Annual Meeting
  • Chat with an Expert, where SOT members sign up to meet informally with a small group of students during the SOT Annual Meeting
  • Poster Tours for Trainees, where SOT members lead small groups of postdocs and students through Annual Meeting Poster Sessions

Note that while the deadline to participate in some of these programs has already passed for this year, these are annual activities in which you can become involved.
