Encouraging Passage of FY2022 Funding for NIH and NIEHS
SOT co-signed a letter by Friends of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) that urges “the prompt passage of the fiscal year (FY) 2022 appropriations bills with increases for public health programs including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the NIEHS.” The letter asks for at least $46.1 billion for NIH funding, with $888.7 million designated for the NIEHS. Twenty other organizations co-signed the letter.
